Instead of watching Iran and responding as is the current situation, Trump was very successful at keeping Iran in check through killing Soleimani, forcing the price of oil down and maximum financial pressure on Iran. Trump knew the JCPOA was a sham and withdrew from it. Biden has unfrozen billions of dollars for Iran, lifted almost all sanctions on Iran, all but stopped oil production that forced the price to high levels and is actively trying to restart the JCPOA with Iran after it was revealed they were cheating on the original plan.
