So in February the DOJ not FBI started its investigation into Trumps top secret documents stored at the White House and Mar-a-logo that came from the National Archives and Records Administration. 15 boxes recived at the White House and at Mar-a-logo which all should have been returned before Trump left by January 2021. In June the FBI went to Jeffery Clark's home dealing with a coup, on January 6th insurrection. In July the FBI was allowed to go threw Trump’s stuff and Rudy Giuliani’s stuff and Trump was court-ordered to turn over evidence regarding the Capitol siege. The trial was going to start by September 26th but looks like it might be postponed to January. The FBI was looking for what Trump was told to provide which proved Trump supported the speech that incited the riot on January 6th, Trump permitting for supporters to carry weapons and gave supporters clearance to proceed through the Secret Service Security checkpoints. Trump exhorted his supporters to march on the Capitol building. The Secret Service wouldn’t allow Trump to go to the Capitol. So, then the FBI started its investigation. What the FBI was given involved “Stop the Steal” evidence which was investigated and proven to be lies. No evidence found about fraud into the election. So, the FBI requested the original documents involving the Capitol riot and was denied.
