Garland gave a speech about no one being above the law but based on Trump not being in jail while the Proud Boys and Oath Keeper are already convicted of seditious conspiracy makes his speech utterly false. Placing another investigator in charge just extends the prosecution that should have happened after Trump's dereliction of duty in not acting while he watched the insurrectionists attack on Congress. As a Commander in Chief not acting caused lives to be lost and also helped fuel the insurrection's violence in Congress. Our military has never been faced with an insurrection started from it's highest ranking member, that I know of.
