<<@rogerbob2568 says : I think it is sickening how we as black people are so quick to judge and find fault in our own. Deion Sanders did a wonderful job while at Jackson State and he has the right just as anyone else to better himself! He’s done more than everyone who’s criticized him has done! In fact they’ve done nothing at all!! No one was giving a damn about HBCU’s until Deion arrived and he made an immediate impact on not only the university, but the kids as well as the town of Jackson itself!! So Deion fulfilled his obligations and far exceeded any expectations and he deserves to move on!>> <<@Hune44 says : I thought they fired Don ?>> <<@vernoncarter6522 says : The success he had at JSU was never going to really hit its mark until we proved that we can compete at the highest levels. By moving to the PAC 12 AND bringing 49 players with him from the HBCU community (they would have played wherever Deion coached), his success proves that HBCU players can compete with PAC 12. This WILL help HBCUs! Now if HBCUs follow the model, get the right coaching, etc perhaps it leads to more HBCUs aggresively pursuing a move to NCAA D1.>> <<@CarsonDouglas says : He the only black coach ! Definitely a token. Id respect him if he owned it. I wanted a check. I think white programs are better and offer more limelight.>> <<@Mighty-ue7bt says : i used to respect bomani. never knew he was like that>> <<@John-14-6 says : Hey Folks. Bomani Jones is of course entitled to his opinion but Deion sold NO ONE on his dream. Also, God has NO time limits. If Coach Prime believed that his time was up at Jackson State then SO BE IT!!! Who is Bomani Jones or anyone else to say that Deion had to stay longer??? What kind of sense does that make???? STOP IT YA'LL. STOP HATIN'>> <<@John-14-6 says : Hey Folks. What in the world in Bomani Jones talking about?? How long does Deion Sanders have to stay to accomplish his mission?? Finally, just because Deion is only one of a kind does NOT mean that he had to stay at Jackson State for the rest of his life!! Many of the HBCU coaches didn't appreciate him while he was there anyway!!!!!!>> <<@haroldmitchell3927 says : This dude is either a hater or he didn’t have all his information like Dion says if God tells you to go somewhere and you follow God’s direction, and then God gives you permission to move on all of a sudden no one wants to hear that. Both could be true.>> <<@Al_K_Hall342 says : Do people realize Eddie George is still coaching at a HBCU? Ed Reed is at Bethune–Cookman now.>> <<@patriasetefano5809 says : The CNN crew are praising Dion, this dark brother has zero optimism. Facts are Facts....Prime made a huge difference.>> <<@amiLore says : JSU didn't uphold their promises to Deion, so anything he told them is now void. Why should he have to be the one who gives and gives and uphold promises when he isn't getting it in return?>> <<@Mulugheta88 says : Black people do not care these schools stop it they don’t donate or invest in these schools. But they’ll spend all their money on “Christmas” 😂>> <<@williamanderson4862 says : Why why do they continue to put these Uncle Tom Negroes on national TV Dion don't owe Jackson State anything matter of fact he gave a lot of himself and his money his Prestige and his credentials to Jackson State University I am proud of the man I'm proud of Dion I'm proud of the job he has done now it's up to the HBCU to continue the rain and take the blueprint and move on anything else is just b*******>> <<@monadeast says : Bomani=Boule>> <<@newgenerationtechnology2930 says : He got exposed as a head coach could never beat a team from the MEAC lol with all them 4 stars and a 5 star and stop using God name in vain Deion lol>> <<@newgenerationtechnology2930 says : If he didn’t preach that bullshit it wouldn’t had been no problem at all . Most coaches just coach he preaches that bullshit like he was a mega preacher lol he could’ve just came and said hey we gone win and bring a winning tradition back to JSU . But that preaching mess he could’ve kept that>> <<@newgenerationtechnology2930 says : They only wanted him because he got the number recruit to come to a small HBCU they didn’t give two flips about him as a coach until then lol>> <<@switchurnotions says : God's direction for people is fluid. Always keep your conscience in tune to his spirit, you could be shifting.>> <<@juancastillo8643 says : Dion is the Man.👏🏽>> <<@ericwilliams3673 says : You don’t have to find another Sanders how about we give opportunities for up and coming strong men who want to coach at HBCU’s a chance and allow them to grow the programs and we need to use our connections to bring in sponsors to build better facility. We gotta do that for ourselves>> <<@ericwilliams3673 says : When you as a black man have the opportunity to moved up the ranked to establish more change our own people do us dirty>> <<@peterp3538 says : Bruh we have to stop this epidemic of white people jumping in blacc conversations and giving their two cents, and saying “Idk why they’re so mad at this.” If you don’t know, shut up. We’re not talking to you. We’re talking to each other.>> <<@keepcalm1224 says : Before I make this statement, I will acknowledge that what Deion Sanders did at JSU was incredible. You have to acknowledge and give him his due for that.. With that being said, I’m trying to figure out what people mean when they say “Look what he’s done for HCBU’s?” What did he do? He did something for ONE HCBU and so people listened when he talked about HCBU programs in a general sense. Did you all of a sudden see all of these top prospects say “Well guess what, I’m going to an HCBU now all because Coach Prime won at JSU? No. You had JSU specifically getting good recruits BECAUSE Deion Sanders was at JSU coaching and winning. Not specifically because it was an HCBU. And guess what, he’s already having the same affect on Colorado with recruits and hasn’t coached a single game yet. If you want to give him credit for what he did at JSU ok. But people need to stop gaslighting as if he changed the entire landscape of HCBU football programs because he didn’t. He changed ONE and it was JSU.>> <<@gbengaelehinafe6395 says : I’m sorry Bomani is being intellectually disingenuous. This is the type of thinking that creates the messiah syndrome. Looking at one man as a savior. Stop judging what someone’s God told him. You are the one that is confused and expected what Deion didn’t say and now you’re disappointed. Deion made the right decision. If the school can’t continue what Deion started then the issue is not Deion and is bigger than Deion.>> <<@Raider352 says : I will not waste time listening to Bomani Jones. Screw him>> <<@epsavoy says : Bomani Jones is REALLY GOOD at what HE does - RUNNING HIS MOUTH. He saying hes an HBCU Alumni and obviously has a large following but instead of using that platform to congratulate Dion and work with him to continue the blueprint of higher visibility and partnerships hes using his voice to knock him down and discount his contribution - TYPICAL crab barrel mentality. Lastly, Bomani and others keep mentioning the salary and the amount of time it SHOULD take for DIon to affect real change. This implies that Dion should take a limited salary for 10 years. IS Bomani reducing his salary in half to help JSU or any other HBCU? Is he connecting with his legion of supporters and other Network celebrities' to help keep the visibility high and the funding coming in? If so we would like to see the receipts. Other than criticism and talk what is he doing besides increasing HIS bag? To me it looks no different than what Dion is doing - securing a future>> <<@robertadams1443 says : He said and did what he said he would do. What has Bomante Foster done besides judge what a man did do!!.. Coach Prime did change lives. How many lives have you changed.with your critiques! Bomante is just another Self-righteous hypocrite! The only one who feels that way is you and other envious hearted people like you!.. Who always come behind those doing good, making suggestions of evil, when the only evil being done, is by the enviers when they envy! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR HBCU'S FOR YOU TO JUDGE WHAT COACH PRIME HAS DONE SIR?>> <<@carolynstokes4566 says : And for the Leaders of JSU to say he hopes that Deon fails so petty . BE A BIGGER MAN than that. I will be PRAYING for you ALL.>> <<@carolynstokes4566 says : So who in the world says you have the right to be angry, with Deon Sanders, your job is to support this man weather you agee how he change his job .Stop beating him down. The university is the ones who not doing what they supposed to Spend these monies WISELY for said program and Students.GOD!! HELP, some of you all would have gone to make changes for your Family to.>> <<@eddiejordan3993 says : Oh come on man, stop crying Jackson State had a losing team until Coach Prime.Even if he would have stayed 10 or 20 years, who’s to say the environment for HBCUs would have changed. Charles Barkley with his big mouth wanted to prove a point by making a huge donation to Jackson State, he and other black sport millionaires could have done this long before Deion stepped up. After all of the criticism of Deion, what other capable black coaches would want to step up, and if they did not who would blame them….>> <<@SuperiorHealthNC says : Meanwhile….Bohomie….ain’t helping…..n….eeeeee…bode…:cuz>> <<@n.j.fromcali2068 says : Bomani is a Hater !!>> <<@ryanr9299 says : He's upgrading.. Doesnt every coach do that these days?? Brian Kelly and Lincoln Riley just did the same thing...?>> <<@teemigo6921 says : this is why black prominent people stay away from black issues. Never do anything based off of your skin color.>> <<@firesign4297 says : Attention: ⚠️ For ANY And ALL... NAYSAYERS!.... Please Check Out Video Titled: "DEION SANDERS * 60 Minutes Interview "! 🔥💣🔥🎤🎤🎤>> <<@darrylsprowal6463 says : Whatever! Deion is exactly who he has always been! He want money fame and football! He isn’t your appointed fixer of all that is wrong with HBC’s he just wants to football period! Haters gone hate!>> <<@servantsoldier5207 says : He said God said it not B Jones enough said! 😇>> <<@TRUSTTHEPROCESSJFITNESSTTP says : Sell this in America anything is possible but the sad thing is college coaches switch jobs all the time Wow send a brother to tear down another brother Sad but coaches like Saban and Kelly can take a promotion with no smoke Now He is a sell out 😂😂 😂😂>> <<@plantbased5673 says : God changed his mind. He loves the state of Colorado and wants it to have a good football team. 😂>> <<@antoniodozier5284 says : I hope Colorado win win win>> <<@danielfrankel9873 says : Did they mention JSU was stealing money from him, not honoring his contract, and the theft of his belongings. Notice in his first videos at Colorado he mentions how nice it is that there is no crime.>> <<@DouglasDavis says : Your coverage is horrid. Nice way to go negative. You guys did zero research, I hope cnn continues to crash. And don lemon ends up working at Chuck E. Cheese.>> <<@CurtisReese-tl7ip says : God sent him for two years>> <<@DeecoyEE86 says : But if he lost more games than he won. Jackson state would've fired him. You got to get it while you're in it. People want loyalty to the same program that would drop you in an instant if the "W" column wasn't heavy.>> <<@clarksmarketing1330 says : Deion owes JSU nothing! He brought plenty of money to that school… They didn’t appreciate what he did !!>> <<@Dh-is5ro says : Whoever the hell this dude on the left is, shame on him for even speaking those silly words. There were people stealing from the football program, and they didn’t appreciate him, we all wanna be valued>> <<@paynedmp says : With all of the attacks towards Coach Prime. Will this Media use its platform to discuss the other side of the dialogue. Will you interview the JSU President and HBCUs Athletic Department and give transparency of football revenues ? It clearly bias to only attack one side and allow the unknown to continue it unknown. This guy on your panel is appears to be bias>> <<@kevinc3342 says : Bomani Jones sat up there in front of WHITE women... in front of a CNN WHITE-ass audience and crapped on Coach Sanders!! He criticized Coach Prime for leaving, but had NOTHING to say about the DOZENS of issues Coach was dealing with at JSU - issues with the administration, being shorted from ticket sales, multiple thefts of his property and break-ins, slain bodies on campus, no water in the city of Jackson, donating HALF his salary to the program, and PLENTY of other issues!! Coach Prime said he was entertaining other offers and hid nothing from JSU. Where was Bomani Jones and all these other critics when Coach Prime ASKED for help and donations?! The people with the MOST to say have done the LEAST to keep Coach Sanders at JSU!! Everyone fumbled the bag AND the ball with this Coach Prime situation!! University of Colorado saw Coach Prime's VALUE and willing to PAY big money. JSU administration, JSU fans and alumni, Coach Prime's critics and detractors, local and national businesses, Black celebrities and athletes... ALL should done the same!! Where the f**k was everybody??!!>> <<@yobabythegoat says : Did they care when you was in the projects in fort Myers? Nope fuck them haters coach prime>> <<@joycehoward1164 says : Deion Sanders leaves JSU much better than he found it! What an awesome role model for young people.>>
