It appears it was actually (initially) a way for “developing” countries to get rid of portions of their population. The Central American and South American governments are making life so terrible that the “unwanted” people of their societies will leave (they have nothing holding them back - nothing to lose). In addition, there’s clearly some major logistics and money behind all of those people heading to the US. Furthermore, add in that there is unequivocal evidence that a major marketing campaign was conducted in all of those countries (to convince people to go to America). Oh man, how did I not see it before. After all of these people have invaded the US, those Central and South American counties will be free of their “baggage.” AND, that sets up the rest of the world to fill the void that the US will leave behind. However, I think that will end up causing a power struggle among many nations. Sounds familiar... Just an idea.
