Just graduated an engineering degree that took me forever to finish(part time student, worked full time). The amount of non connected/ elective courses you have to take to get a BS or BA degree is ridiculous. I get a few core classes like you have to learn how to read and write effectively but for how expensive it is you should be a pretty competent lawyer, engineer, dr. Etc when you leave. I learned more about engineering in my first three months doing the job than I did over my 7 years in college.>>
