You dont go up to a 3 year old boy and start showing him pictures of vaginas. Or tell him how the babymaking works exactly. Love is universal, children understand that without beeing taught by us. So no need to wxplain to them in a book that two same sex people can love each other. I mean.... what kid doesnt love its dog?? Is that perverted? Do we need to explain to the kid why he/she loves its dog? Why it okay to love another species? That’s what the argument from this Councillor is and will lead to. No matter what the locality demographics are, this is Australia and even if some people are coming from nations where discrimination is acceptable and wish to push that onto others here (which by the way it is an incorrect assumption that all migrants think this way just because some people have contacted him about it) they need to realize that Australia isn’t the place they fled from for a good reason and we have the freedom of religion but also freedom from religion.
