Yet the AI believes it can still be done by simply specifying the quads corners to be trapezoidal. I had to teach it last night, that it was no longer possible. Yet another restriction. Likewise we can draw trape using PathGeometry, but requires additional steps to shear the texture. Which is fine. Trying my very best to avoid DX3D almost had it implmented then cut it out because i know what it leads on to. So we can skew left and right but had to create additional DrawGeo function to draw trapezoids specifically. So that we could invent our own type of matrix. But everyone on eachothers shoulders causes so much damage. IMO as doing the type of work over 7 years. now. I know idon't want to work in the modern way. But the original way has effectively in many area's been over-written. the key here is that if you can't draw a trapezoid using basic methods, then you can't morph Rectangles into anglular views. Without using the provided Matrix techniques and triangle based raster. Wasn't quite sure who is responsibile for this, but it must have a corporate origin. I am sure earlier versions of DX will have functional ability to specify those quad corners to be at locations we want them to be on the default method as the AI seemed to believe was possible. As it would see the logical thing. But as we say The Paralellogram system, only takes shapes of sides 2 paralel. So the left and right can be skewed, or the top and bottom can be skewed, but all 4 corners can't create a unusually stretched square. with wild angles.
