What is the proof of age? Every accused person is 17 year old nowadays so that they can get juvenile punishment. If he can drink and drive a car then he sees himself as an adult. Why should he not get punished as an adult? What difference does a few months make? And his doting family want their driver to take the fall. Because when we Indians have a lot of money, other people's lives don't matter. This case is hurting people more each day as this useless family tries to circumvent the course of justice. The more they try the more it enrages us. There is only one thing to do. Plead guilty, be remorseful and do the time that could be adequate punishment according to the law but will never compensate the loss of the two young people to their families and friends. It was a senseless killing that could have been avoided had the parents of this brat brought him up well. They continue to hurt the public emotions by trying tactics to save him thereby angering us more. Just stop trying to wriggle your way out of this as you are getting entangled more. Just own up that you failed as parents and are too full of yourselves. Accept the punishment and let the families of the victims try and move on. It will never happen but we can only pray God gives them the strength. What if it had been your son in their place? Shame on these people and the authorities who tried to help them. Shame.
