Viktor Orban wants more millions from the EU to support his poor economy where around 500.000 hungarians have fled to Germany and other EU countries because they can't make a decent living in their own country ( said a good Hungarian friend to me. Hungary to be in such a dire state ... is because it belonged to the USSR former satelite states same as Poland, Romania etc and became poor instead of better / advanced. All of these countries have to catch up a delay in their economy of about 50 years compared to the EU. The EU did not ask Hungary to be a member , it could remain independant also and align with Russia if it proved to be more profitable ... since its membership the EU has given millions of packages to upgrade its economy and I don't think the Hungarians would like to return to Moscow rule .
