Also the Sellafield Nuclear site and reprocessing plant in the UK (that we have used) is now decommissioning (as at july 2022) so we can't use them to even re-process our high level nuclear waste into 'safe' storage methods... the UK Govt is spending: "The clean-up and decommissioning of the Sellafield Nuclear Licensed Site is currently estimated by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority to cost between Β£60 – 140 billion over a 120-year period." That is $114 - $266 BILLION!! Australian dollars to clean up the site of their re-processing site... OVER the next 120 years... LOL... Dutton needs to add clean up and permanent nuclear waste storage into his costings...
