<<@aliceclayton1914 says : Realistically, there is no way our power bills are ever going to go down, to assume they would is naive. What needs to be considered: Renewables, we already know they can’t provide enough electricity to keep the lights on 24/7. We know solar needs constant sun/ warmth, if you have home solar, you know that’s impossible, if wind turbines are supposed to fill the gap, we know the depend on wind, again constant wind is not possible, also if the wind velocity is too high, we know turbines don’t work, and are likely to explode. Then most importantly farm land to accommodate both wind and solar, cuts Dow food production, increases costs, bush land and forests torn up kills our wildlife. Cutting downs bush land and forests, increases the temperatures, contributing existentially to global warming, there for defeating the entire purpose of the entire endeavour>> <<@graemeschubert6162 says : Will we have a how plan to vote on>> <<@patriot388 says : I don't want wind farms and solar panels covering our country! I'm voting for Dutton! Nuclear is the way to go!>> <<@billschneider1893 says : Interesting that France has had nuclear energy for a long time. France has the cheapest power in Europe. Modern nuclear power stations are safe and efficient. A really well thought out education programme should be designed to enlighten the Australian public about new, modern nuclear power stations. What I heard people say in this video clip it is obvious that there's a lot of ignorance about it.>> <<@Coastal603 says : The ignorance of some people, they are completely clueless.>> <<@peterjohnstone7734 says : Those areas that have nuclear generation will be like a moth to a flame for businesses looking to innovate and produce production and that is an asset not for consumers power bills but for jobs in those locations.>> <<@peterjohnstone7734 says : How are we going to expand our economy with the supply and demand ratio we have at present regards energy generation into the future?!.>> <<@Beachlife4567 says : Peter Dutton is always leading the debate and setting the agenda from opposition. Whilst Albo is riding in the car>> <<@l4rrikin says : It all comes down to chi. If we go nuclear, will I still be in alignment with the universe?>> <<@dariusdodd says : Australians have been fed bullshit about nuclear energy for decades now and you see the result in vox pops. I lived beside a French station for 5 years and you just forget its there.>> <<@wtf22playa56 says : All the people saying they dont want it I ask... so where the power going to come from? They will close all the coal plants and when there is no sun or wind tell me how you going to turn the lights on?....wait no answer...so dumb.>> <<@TruthWarrior1 says : My concern is energy prices over the next decade. There will be no short term relief.>> <<@briananderson7285 says : Coal-fired gas fired, nuclear power ,hydro with a bit of solar and wind, Australia a big country.>> <<@lloydsingline340 says : Getting advice from France or Canada re installation would be good.>> <<@rogermckinnon5738 says : Watch labor's anti nuclear propaganda and misinformation go groups into overdrive now.>> <<@steveone says : Hopefully Dutton has done his research . Albo found out the hard way about what the Aussie public want .>> <<@willzy1972 says : GOOGLE GALEN WINSOR FOR THE REAL INFORMATION ABOUT NUCLEAR IF YOU DONT BACK NUCLEAR AFTER WATCHING HIM YOU A UTTER MORON>> <<@willzy1972 says : GOOGLE CHERNOBYL I WATCH A DOC IN THE 80S IT WAS FULL OF HEALTHY ANIMALS & VERY LUSH GRASS TREES>> <<@kevincrouch3956 says : The Coalition's baseless, fact less, ill thought nuclear policy has handed the election to Labor and provided an avalanche of votes to the Teals...go Dutts.>> <<@NRCZ5BRO7_ says : The best thing the LNP could do. Is employ someone who knows and understands the nuclear power industry. And let that person handle the media - questions - of - time frames - technical issues - costs. The reason being politicians - love ideas. It's when they try to put ideas into practice that it all goes - wrong. That's why - you don't just have a talking points policy. You stand back and let - the people who know this industry - talk about the details.>> <<@kentaitchison889 says : Nuclear will get over 70% of the votes around Australia>> <<@noblepaul6240 says : Asking an Aussie about anything other than real estate is just a waste of time>> <<@sometingwongwai9679 says : Such comedy, Aussies want expensive power and whinge at cost of living, This country is so funny. They say China is Authoritarian, but our governments don't' oppose building a granny flat in the backyard>> <<@timothyjackson6191 says : Maybe a better and cheaper idea that can bring cheaper power immediately would be to buy back our sold out foriegn owned and controlled electricity grids and end the taxes placed on electricity making electricity a non profit organization just as health should be>> <<@bestestusername says : The nervous part for the ALP is that the public opinion is divided and unsure, this means people can be convinced especially as its used lots overseas.>> <<@kitdyer8968 says : Ask the wrong person nuclear cheap power>> <<@kitdyer8968 says : I am for it>> <<@SamuelSalty says : 3:25 this bloke looks like a complete flog>> <<@tikkabrno says : Just your average voters with a combined IQ in double figures 🙄>>
