The west will never acknowledge or accept China's achievement in renewable energy. Instead it will find ways to smear China, liking China is the world's biggest polluter without mentioning on per capita basis every American consumes twice amount of electricity of every Chinese. If China has installed record amount of solar power it is overproduction. The truth is US solar cells cost is 2.66 times of the Chinese. If China installed more wind power than others the US claims it is because state subsidies. The truth is cost in US has rocketed so much that successful bidders like Ørsted, Equinor, BP and Avangrid, have canceled contracts or sought to renegotiate them in recent months. They prefer to pay penalties to abandon the wind farm projects instead of constructing them. This results half the US wind power in the pipeline being cancelled. In the mean time China is just doing steadily what has been planned to de-carbonize.
