I have had several bosses over the years abuse their position of power with threats of sacking me if I didn't comply to their unreasonably requirements. Eg, ringing me up in the evening and demanding a report being on their table first thing in the morning, calling me back to work from annual leave while I was away down the coast and excessive work hours.
