It comes across as attention seeking and a bit vain. It is a rare politician that accomplishes anything that materially changes our lives in a positive way, but there are multitudes of politicians who stuff things up for us. The cabinet he is now part of is stuffing us up - and that's one of the real reasons why he is bailing out. Now I'd really respect him if he came out and said that Albanese and Chalmers were terrible politicians doing Australia harm and he can't stand being part of that woeful team. That would be good, if he did that, but he won't because he has a loyalty to his party that comes before a loyalty to Australia.
