I think we were stronger and healthier, both mentally and physically than today’s students. Two factors may be healthier foods and no social media back then. Another factor could be the difference in parenting styles. We had played outside until the streetlights came on. Our parents had experienced WWW II and were not helicopter parents monitoring every hour of their child’s day.
