This is confirmed by a 2024 study co-led by Northwestern University economist Elisa Jácome. a team of economists analyzed 150 years of U.S. Census data and found immigrants were consistently less likely to be incarcerated than people born in the U.S. They also found beginning in 1960, the incarceration gap widened such that immigrants today are 60% less likely to be incarcerated than than citizens born in America. With that said, at the same time, alot of our people have terrible encounters with the police, even when we were and are innocent, we have faced corruption in law enforcement. Now that Trump can probably relate to how law enforcement and abuse of authority is a thing since he has been targeted as a political opponent he has to assure our people that the weoponization of law enforcement and authority isnt abused and that things are put in place to make sure we are included in those that are protected and served. I don't believe in defunding the police just as I dont believe in corrupt police abusing the system. There is a lot of fear and worry embedded in our communites when it comes to cops in America. The Democrats use this to their advantage and manipulate our people and use fear campaigns to keep most of our people to "vote blue no matter what". Lets think about how important this is for the overall outcome of whats next for america. Please speak on the protection and change in making sure corruption in law enforcement is addressed when it comes to the "black communities".
