I grew up in Miami and a lot of the Haitians there are very hard working people and are very family oriented. Haiti has been in turmoil for decades due to poor government rule that stole from their people. Now they are in the worst situation ever with street gangs running the country. Its a shame that we have not been able to intervene in some way, because Haiti could be more like the Dominican Republic.or Jamaica turning them into a beautiful tourist destination with beautiful beaches, hotels, fabulous restaurants, a cruise port which could provide thousands of jobs for the Haitians to make them prosperous, they would be able to open up their own businesses.
