All super powers excercise geopolitics, but for some it is more acceptable. There were no sanctions against US when it invaded Iraq in a very brutal way. Gibraltar, Falkland Islands and Northern Ireland are British geopolitics. China is an exception. It has never bullied its neighbours militarily. Edit: I checked, and his Father, former Actor Kirk Douglas had Belarusian ascent; then Belarus was Russian Empire. His real name was Issour Danielovitch, but he was already born in the US.
