I am totally shocked that 10% of care kids are Native American. Some of our clients have tried to adopt Native American children and the tribes do not allow them to be adopted. As a matter fact, the federal government has strict rules and regulations as far as native American, even with some Native American in them, children usually cannot be adopted. If the mother or father, I’m not sure, I’m saying this right, but have a card certifying they’re Native American, then we have to go through that tribe and generally they are not allowed to be adopted. So I realize that this video was about introducing that 10% of Native American kids are introduced to their culture. I don’t remember if she said Nevada or Arizona, but I would think instead of staying in care. And I also understand that they want the children to learn their culture. I guess I am off-topic.
