He believed that if it is up to 4 or 5 months, then it is acceptable to proceed. In the first trimester (up to 12 weeks), the fetus is not fully developed, and most abortions occur during this period. At this stage, the fetus lacks the ability to survive outside the womb. Fetal viability, the point at which a fetus can potentially survive outside the womb with medical support, is generally considered to occur around 24 weeks of gestation. This is one reason why many countries place legal restrictions on abortion after this point, except in cases where the mother's health is at risk. You express support for early-term abortion but not late-term abortion, which is a common stance. Late-term abortions (typically after 20-24 weeks) are rare and usually occur due to severe fetal abnormalities or threats to the mother’s health. According to scientific research and medical experts, late-term abortions are often medical necessities rather than elective decisions. It's crucial to understand that decisions made in the later stages of pregnancy are often fraught with medical and ethical challenges. These cases typically involve the mother’s health, life-threatening complications, or the unviability of the fetus. If the right to abortion is considered a woman's right, then the right to be born is the baby's right. What if the baby grows up to become someone like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, or Alice Walton? What if they become a scientist like Alan Guth, Tim Berners-Lee, Einstein, Newton, or Tesla? What if they become a famous artist like Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, or Meryl Streep? What if they become a leader like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Bush, Narendra Modi, Donald Trump, or Kamala Harris? Then, one might proudly claim them as their son or daughter, but at the time, they were just a fetus needing support, and you were the one who wanted to terminate the pregnancy. I'm not against abortion—it's necessary in some cases—but not late-term abortion, as that is equivalent to killing. Trump said something similar, but the media, like CNN and Palki Sharma, twisted his words. They even associated him with the far-right. Please do your research and support Trump. Also, "Project 2025" is a conspiracy by Kamala Harris to win the minority vote. I'm Indian and I'm supporting Trump.>> <<@cobano9953 says : Its because trump will keep us out of a war that us young men would have to fight. Trump rejected ethical norms, which had stood for decades, by refusing to release his tax returns as a candidate or president, or divest from his business once elected. Trump has chosen to keep us from knowing whether Russian operatives are funneling money directly into his bank accounts. Trump also ended the Obama administration’s policy of releasing of full White House visitor logs. As a result, we no longer know who the president meets with in the Oval Office, and we certainly don’t know who he meets with at his private businesses, which he has visited more than 130 days since taking in office. His administration is fighting in court to keep these records secret. Due to Trump’s astonishing reversals regarding government transparency, we’ve arrived at an ethical morass that must look like a neon "Open for Business" sign to those who want to influence our government. I’m a 20-year-old guy, British born and raised, so I can speak only from my perspective. The main demographic of young people who are moving to the political right are young, straight, white, usually working-class men without a college education. I am a straight young man, but I am not white, and I am being educated at a prestigious university. That already sets me apart. I believe my political views are centrist, from a British perspective at least. From an American perspective they will probably be viewed as a bit further to the left, given I support things like universal free healthcare that we have had here for over 75 years now. But I think straight, white, working-class young men feel disillusioned and sidelined because they believe that the elite class who have controlled the narratives have underrepresented or misrepresented them. And to an extent that has happened. We had horrible sexual violence tragedies make headlines in recent years. But when educators, many of whom are female, are encouraged to make a difference, some mistakenly point a finger at men, making a sweeping generalization and saying they’re all capable of being the next serial rapist. So then these men look for a community and a voice. And the right-wing populism - including MAGA in America, Reform in the UK, the AfD in Germany, the Rassemblement National in France - promise they will stand up for these folks, and take back control of the narratives, which they claim have been taken over by the mainstream media, which is full of the “elite” class of college-educated people who make up Democrats’ main base. The populists also promise that they will wave a magic wand and somehow make economic troubles go away. If Harris and the Democrats really want to win back this demographic they have to prove that they are willing to listen to the needs of this group. That’s a very hard thing for them to prove given some of the influencers that these folks listen to. But if these folks believe that the “elite”, college-educated class has always prevailed, who spend their time discussing the plight of women, and LGBT+ people, and people of color over theirs, and that’s why they must fight back, then it is very hard for Kamala, a woman of color, to look like someone who understands them rather than just someone who claims to understand them. I’ve seen these narratives on social media as well as people that I’ve personally spoken to. If I were an American citizen, I would vote for Harris-Walz in a heartbeat. But I’m not. And perhaps many of these young, straight, white, non-college-educated men will want me to shut my mouth too, even if only because I am not white and have the immense privilege of a university education. Just my thoughts. I’m not an expert and have zero influence on this election.>> <<@lawv804 says : Democrats are the party of feminism and misandry.
