Israel has been responding in a disproportionate way. That's just a fact. It's got nothing to do with antisemitism. Many jewish americans who are democrats disagree with the way Israel has been handling all of this, and think it won't be good for them as jewish. You can't just say that the other side started it, because Israel, as a western ally, is held to another standard, as are western countries, and should be way more careful with civilians. Not carpet bombing and then saying they're not responsible for the victims. Kamala said that Israel has a right to defend itself but how it is done matters, thus implying that this is not the right way. It's not good for either palestinians or jewish people in the long run. Even if Israel didn't start it in october last year. And Kamala's husband is a jewish american himself, they know what they're talking about. They support Israel but want to be fair, not just one-sided. And they support peace talks with more a more moderate leader like Abbas in west bank, for a two states solution.
