Because of the goods shortages after the pandemic no country could have 2 % inflation, and when Trump is talking about prices and inflation in the middle of the pandemic he is bloody unserious because people couldn't travel and the market was so low that everyone tried to underbid each other in prices to sell. Even though the prices was low because of low demand in the middle of the pandemic Trump is lying about such as the price level for gas, which was at aprox 2,40 to 2,60 USD/ gallon because of the low demand world wide, but not at 1,80 as he is lying.
