From the irrational market planning of the USSR, to the armed raids by state agencies to collect tax money from corporations in the 90's (also copied by criminals) and the thoroughly corrupt state finances of today where ~50% or so of the money is ineffective because it disappears into the pockets of top officials. Bribery and corruption is the modus operandi of the Russian state, and through weaponized immigration they expand this network wherever they can bribing journalists to spread their narrative and allying themselves with criminal networks to target and pressure key individuals in the west who can't be bribed. They've only been doing this since 1918, and the west has become very soft because of it. Just look at all those self-imposed red lines and policy of non-escalation. All ideas and concepts planted in the west by Muskovite agents, like pacifism and many other ideas designed to weaken the west. Russia is very afraid of NATO, it's why they choose to fight the west through alternate means. They have been and continue to be exceptionally successful in this campaign of corruption.
