Blinken shrugs off international outcry, blocking any real attempt at accountability. The bombs drop, and democracy becomes just another word, stretched thin over the graves of innocents. This is the rhythm of the administration—one beat in Ukraine, the next in Gaza. Support for questionable regimes dressed in the language of noble ideals. Aid flows freely to Israel, even as Netanyahu manipulates the conflict to shield himself from scandal at home. It’s a game, and Biden plays his part well, juggling appearances of diplomacy with the cold calculus of war. The pattern is unmistakable: profit, not peace. Democracy, when convenient. And always, the defense industry waiting in the wings, counting on the next contract, the next conflict, the next body.
