I only met him once briefly at a KISS concert at MSG in 1996 briefly when he was still with Marla Maples. But I know this: Russia hadn't invaded Ukraine. Israel hadn't been at war. And while not perfect by any measure, there was a shaky but undeniable peace as far as America was concerned. Now? It's a trainwreck and a disaster.
