It’s Labor and Albaneses fault things are more expensive. Yes deceptive pricing is a fault of the supermarkets, though cost of living is due to Labors mass migration and reckless inefficient spending. Notice every time Labor gets in power everything gets more expensive? Not a coincidence. They do not know how to run an economy. Vote One Nation to stop mass migration and reckless spending. Mass migration is what has caused the long lasting per capita recession. Vote greens last. Labor second last.

The government has been trash for a long time especially when Labour is in. Yet people keep putting them in power. How can you not in what is essentially a two party system where time for a change was taken serious with no clear or consistent policy goals. Australia is what could be a wealthy country kept poor by incompetent government, bureaucracy and greed in society. I am in no way a leftist loon but a country with so much land should not be having a housing crisis due to the cost of it among other things. As for the supermarkets they are no innocent as they make extensive profits. The truth is their staff do not deserve bad treatment because of how they are managed. A lot needs to change in Australia but it does not include becoming socialist.

wtf are you on about? The $1500 was an extra temporary tax offset to bridge the gap between stage 2 of the tax cuts coming in. Then covid happened and they let the $1500 tax offset stay on for an extra couple of years before finally taking it off. You are all spin no substance. Tell the full story and the truth for once Paul. Stop manipulating the truth and electively releasing information relying on the ignorance of the average punter. If it were upto you you'd let people in the low end who pay little to no tax at all get away with double dipping indefinately? We can't afford such stupid middle class welfare when the govt is already in such high debt.

The wavelengths of infra-red that CO2 blocks are also blocked by water vapour. There is a lot more water vapour than CO2 in the atmosphere, the whole global warming thing is bunk. It started in the 1970's which was a cool decade, and then surprise, as temperatures reverted to mean it was suddenly a crisis of global warming. And this is behind 90 percent of price rises, the cost of energy, efforts to stop fossil fuels by colossal fools.

Supermarkets in Australia (aka Colesworths) do a fantastic job of ensuring that almost any staple food/grocery item one might desire is available almost anywhere within a Km or so of home. That's a mega logistical challenge they meet every day. Sure, Colesworths are world class negotiators, screwing their suppliers until the supplier's nose bleeds. But that benefits consumers. IF you don't like Colesworths, do what one does when banks make you grumpy: Buy their shares and reap reliable dividends and franking credits to help pay your grocery bill..
