He started as a young naive leftie, then continue as a servant of Slovak oligarchs. . He and his political party Smer did not do many good things for Slovak citizens. Thanks to their long lasting goverment Slovakia became most corrupted country in the region of Central Europe and V4, least developed country and with lovest quality of life, educational system etc. When I see Robert Fico how he is trying to speak as a world class leader it is just a joke. He is rather boss of bosses in Slovakia. Some people around him and his very close friends and members of his party had even connections with italian crime group Ndranghetta and many of them have been accused of various, mostly financial crimes. However, after he took the power again, he change Criminal Law system in Slovakia to make sure criminals in Slovakia will be free and not end up in prison. Many "businessmen" in Slovakia steal money from EU funds and Slovak official and police do not do anything because of corruption schemes.
