THEY botched the investigation and prosecution. THEY spent all that money wasting time and energy trying to convict Jussie. Jussie did NONE of that. The day they gave that awful press conference, with the Chief personally attacking Jussie, they botched this case. Jussie was right to sue them for defamation. Jussie was right to win this IL Supreme Court decision. And the unfortunate thing is that we will now never know what actually happened because the evidence in this case has been SO badly handled. We do know it was a hoax, but we do NOT know that Jussie created the hoax. CPD was so quick to smear him that they never finished investigating who actually set up and arranged any of this mess. The only person who's story hasn't changed is Jussie and that's who I stand with.
