Generally we as humans seem to just love fouling the things in our world that mean the most to us. As a race we need to do a ‘180’ to protect our children’s habitat, however the political will where those with all the wealth won’t bother. Shame on us…

Paris has been cleaning up the Seine for years, and not just for the Olympics. The river is actually in much better shape now in terms of its biodiversity. The E coli could be due to human waste, but could also be due to run-off from farms upstream. It is a big, long river.
