A 57-year-old-man is missing after he was attacked by a shark off Port Beach in Perth's North Fremantle.
Western Australia Police addressed the media, with Acting Inspector Troy Douglas saying the attack occurred at around 10am on Saturday morning.
He said a group of young people witnessed the attack in a nearby boat and alerted emergency services straight away.
"As a result, there's a victim who's a 57-year-old male, at this point at this time has not been located," he said.
He said water police will continue the search into the night.
