The federal government moving to scrap the cashless debit card along with the Northern Territory's lifting of an alcohol ban is going to cause "absolute mayhem" among vulnerable communities, CLP Senator Jacinta Price says.
"We don't need alcohol back out in vulnerable communities where previously, before the emergency response, we had experienced shocking rates of domestic and family violence," Ms Price told Sky News Australia.
"We still do � we experience the highest rates in the nation in terms of domestic violence."
