NASA 'staying the course' following Russia's move to jump ship from the ISS
Russia's space agency 'Roscosmos' has announced its intention to leave the International Space Station after 2024. The director-general of Russia's space agency Roscosmos surprised NASA by announcing that Moscow intended to end the space station partnership "after 2024". 'Of course, we will fulfil all our obligations to our partners, but the decision to leave this station after 2024 has been made,' Yury Borisov told Russian President Vladimir Putin in comments released on Tuesday. NASA Associate Administrator Bob Cabana said the company was 'staying the course". 'We are working to extend the International Space Station to 2030," he said at a conference in Washington on Wednesday. "It's got good years left, and as you've heard today, it's extremely busy right now, and we have much more we can do.'
