Sydney Institute's Gerard Henderson says Independent MP Monique Ryan ends up 'lecturing people' as he discussed the politician's instruction to other members of politicians.
Mr Henderson criticised the ABC's portrayal of Ms Ryan's request to ask members of parliament to wear a mask as related to an 'exhibit of power'.
'It's just bizarre,' he told Sky News Australia.
'It's nothing to do with power.'
