American studies show that excessive online recreation is causing grades and test scores for middle school-age children to plummet, and doctors are even discovering physical ailments developing in kids addicted to online gaming. Until now, policing the hours kids spend playing games per day had been left to teachers, parents, and even the children themselves, but it hasn't been enough.
