Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was moved to "quip" that he held a cabinet meeting this morning "without any secret appointments".
Mr Albanese's remarks came during a press conference after revelations former prime minister Scott Morrison was secretly sworn into additional portfolios while in government.
"Cabinet met this morning; I can confirm that no one was appointed to different portfolios in secret," Mr Albanese said.
"I can confirm that we had proper processes and papers presented before that cabinet."
Please sack Gru/The Penguin, Andrew "The Bogan Whisperer" Clennell, as I and MANY others, turn off the TV and stop the videos, giving an automatic thumbs down, when I see his face and hear his voice. You need people who are able to speak and that do not turn peoples stomachs when they look at them, as we see enough bogans on the streets, we don't need them pretending to be journalists. Also, I am pretty sure, most of Andrew's extended family, keeps posting porn spam on Sky News videos every day. It has become a terrible problem that your staff encourage and do not block these people.
