Albanese 'quips' about holding cabinet meeting 'without secret appointments'
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was moved to "quip" that he held a cabinet meeting this morning "without any secret appointments". Mr Albanese's remarks came during a press conference after revelations former prime minister Scott Morrison was secretly sworn into additional portfolios while in government. "Cabinet met this morning; I can confirm that no one was appointed to different portfolios in secret," Mr Albanese said. "I can confirm that we had proper processes and papers presented before that cabinet."
