To blame it on the economy is simply wrong. People have become more lazy and comfortable, which put them in a vicious cycle of thinking that it’s not worth to pursue an educational path. I talked with many NEET’s and they decided conciously to enjoy some time off and celebrate life when they are young. All of them admit, that laziness has had a big impact of deciding to drop out of university and also rather stay at home than searching for a job.
