CNN needs to have more coverage on Iran and Iranians protest in the diaspora. I have not seen any CNN coverage on protests outside Iran.

Ishmael is a boy's name of Hebrew origin, meaning “God will hear.” Genesis 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 37:27-28 27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content. 28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. Matthew 26:47-48 47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. 48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. A israelite will sell his on brother for a Price, will sell his own soul for the fame. A Ishmaelite is born with a royal bloodline (Egypt) worship the one and only God, the Lord of all the worlds Allah a divergent a free thinker. Compared to anyone of any RACE to claim to be and Israelite. Bless you father Abraham.

Anyone who supports the Iranian regime is an agent of the regime, just listen to the people of Iran, the voice that wants to change the terrorist regime.

As an Iranian fighting with the regime I should say, this guy is a regimes' agent. They call themselves "reformists". The whole story about his prison was a sham for the regime to make some money. He is a member is NIAC, the regimes' lobby in Washington. We the people inside Iran were really happy that the regimes' team lost last night. Congrats team USA.
@sina-sh-n5225 Says:
This is a letter from the Iranian people.     According to Article 19 of the Human Rights Law, everyone is free to accept any opinion, express it and publish it, but in Iran they arrested Niloofar Hamedi, a journalist who published the news of Mahsa Amini's death. Anyone who shows his opposition to the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran is condemned to be arrested and tortured. Like Hossien Ronaghi, Toomaj Salehi, Saman Seyedi, etc.     The tactic of the Islamic Republic to fight the protests is to spread lies. Forced confessions that are recorded from relatives of people killed by the police is one of the lies of this system. Political prisoners are subjected to phisical and mental torture, and are also accused of charges that they didn't commite.     During this time, the government is creating various scenarios to destroy people's lawsuits in Iran, The government carries out shooting operation in religious places and attributes it to terrorist attacks so that religous people stand against people's protests. They abuse the news of the World Cup and the national team, and make the suppression forces celebrate in the streets to hide the news of the crimes in the border towns, but in None succeed.     The number of strikers is increasing day by day and the number of regime forces is decreasing, which means that the Islamic Republic of Iran is closing to being overthrown. It would be helpful if you do your best to expel Iranian ambassadors and the families of ministers, establish a fact finding committee and to punish people who have violated human Rights Law.      People all over the world will witness the biggest uprising of Iranian people inside and outside of Iran on December 5-7.     Thank you for taking this into consideration.

It seems like their government hijacked the national team, that's why people don't sympathize with their national team this time. And these players, under so much pressure, had to accept to be the regime's puppets to advocate their propaganda. This whole situation is heartbreaking and confusing

Jaw dropping that in the 21st century we still have black robed theists running a country of educated people. Their days are numbered. They can defy the arc of history for only so long.
@hootans.4293 Says:
If US stadiums didn't allow women into their stadiums or didn't allow blacks into their stadiums, wouldn't people in the US in the twenty-first century sanction that team as well as their players and be happy every time they lost? That's how Iranians feel about their team and their football federation because women aren't allowed to go into the stadiums in Iran, they are getting killed on the streets of Iran every day, getting shot at, tortured and imprisoned if any of these players moms, sisters, brothers or any of their family members were being shot at, tortured, imprisoned would'd still been happy to play or care about losing or winning? The regime in Iran has chosen to call this team as their own team, hence the Islamic Republic team or the Mullah team name given to this team by Iranians, instead of Iran's national team.
@Neo101ai Says:
The USA was handed a win by Iranian Players. It was pretty darn obvious the Iranian side did not even want to push for a win and was killing time to get it over with since the pressure of those poor players was unimaginable. How would you feel if they tell you if you do this or that we have your family and we will do unthinkable things to them? The reason the Iran team did not play A or even B game Football was the simple fact that they did not want to give the dick supporters reason to cheer in the streets. If Iran had won, it would have been a full-blown celebration, not by the people but by the opposers and they rob them of that even if that cost them a spot in a World cup. Sad CNN miss to mention that part. Selfish as always. My heart aches for all those that are going through unthinkable things. Well, Dutch players are gonna send them packing anyways. but missing the bigger picture here hurts their feeling. Solidarity is really amiss.

Precisely my point, I support USA and wouldn't like USA to fall off from the world cup. The tension in Iran should concern all of us. And you can't process a thought of reception from Iran regime losing a match against USA on the pitch.
@mortezazijerdi6454 Says:
Please stop giving Jason Rezaian Airtime. He is a corrupt Islamic Republic mouthpiece, and a NAIC supporter. He has his comments section on Instagram blocked since he knows what people think of him. He is using his imprisonment false story to get $180M from Iranian seized funds in the US to benefit Islamic Republic. He does not represent Iranians. You can see from mass celebrations in Iran after US win that most Iranians don’t agree with him.
@eileenkilgallon4071 Says:
Our American team will do everything in their power to let Iran win and make it look believable to make sure the Iranian players and their families stay safe from the Taliban regime. Personally I think the Iranian team should have been turned away from the games because of the pressure and danger they and their families are facing from the regime, the Taliban regime will have no one to blame but themselves!

Here's why this guy is wrong: about 60% of living humans are morons and think what happens in the world is a result of some invisible asshole in the sky. They see sports wins as signs of divine support for the country that wins. They're idiots and a loss would represent the invisible asshole not supporting this cancer regime. A win for them would represent the opposite.

I’m an Iranian American and I’m happy USA beat Iran because 1-They deserved victory as they played much better 2-The Iranian team is not a national team .. they didn’t support Iranian people who are fighting with live bullets out in streets for their basic freedom… they’re puppets of the dictator regime and they don’t deserve respect or victory 😢
