Russians on the hook for the Kremlin: no private life even on the Internet
A campaign to discredit VPN services has begun in Russia. Pro-government organizations have circulated several social videos in which they try to convince Russians that when using this technology, all the user's personal data is leaked to the network - down to the names of pets and social network passwords. As planned by the Kremlin, this should scare the Russians from trying to find out the truth, in particular, about the war against Ukraine. After all, a VPN is one of the few ways to circumvent restrictions on access to objective sources of information and, in combination, resources that are objectionable to the Kremlin.
