Sanctions should be imposed on countries that do not comply with the decision of the International Criminal Court to arrest Vladimir Putin, and Moscow should pay compensation to families whose children were forcibly deported to Russia from the occupied territory of Ukraine. These are just some of the proposals that were voiced by the deputies of the European Parliament during the debate on the forced deportation of Ukrainian children and the arrest warrant against Vladimir Putin. Recall that earlier the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen proposed to hold an international conference on the return of illegally deported children.

After all that South Africa has gone through and achieved, although they probably owe Russia and China a lot of money (as many underdeveloped countries do), I would hope that at the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) meeting in August they honour their signatory agreement with the International Criminal Court (ICC ) and arrest Putin if he shows up at the meeting, which considering his non-action throughout the "special military operation," he probably will not do.
