Western Australia is heading for a Christmas scorcher with extreme heatwave and fire weather warnings in place.
Temperatures are expected to exceed 43 degrees Celsius, smashing the Perth record for Christmas Day.
Tonight's temperature is expected to be 28 degrees, providing West Australians little relief ahead of Boxing Day, which is set to be 44 degrees.

It is all relative to what you are used to. We have family in Dubai that say Perth is too cold and we have family in Toronto that say Perth is too hot. Best part is they were all here at the same time for a wedding some years ago
