Kristina Keneally moves into Fowler electorate
Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Australian Senate Kristina Keneally has officially become a Western Sydney local in an attempt to become a House of Representatives tilt. Labor chose to parachute her as the candidate for Fowler instead of holding a rank and file preselection. Ms Keneally relocated from the secluded Scotland Island hideaway on Sydney's Northern Beaches, more than 40 kilometres away, into the electorate. The Labor Party is preparing to step up its Fowler campaign ahead of the federal election, which holds a margin of 14 per cent. It is understood she is renting with her husband and has been seen frequently in the area.
