Australians 'out and about' to snag Boxing Day bargain despite Omicron fears
Shoppers across Australia are expected to spend $21 billion in today's Boxing Day sales despite Omicron fears. Sky News Australia discussed the issue with Australian Retailers Association CEO Paul Zahra who said the rise in COVID cases won't deter shoppers from the sale. "We expect it to be a really bumper Boxing Day sales," Mr Zahra said. "In fact what we've seen today is people been out and about and ready to snag a bargain now that's music to the ears of retailers but equally great for retailers."
