Additional 800,000 booster doses to be rushed to GPs and pharmacists
An additional 800,000 COVID booster jabs will be rushed to GPs and pharmacists to keep up with skyrocketing demand. Pharmacists say they have been swapping doses between chemists after being swamped with bookings. The federal government slashed the interval between the second dose and booster jab to four months from January 4. The additional doses, which come from existing stock, will be added to current orders.
