Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro will soon face a trial that could determine his political future. The Supreme Electoral Court has scheduled the decision for June 22 and will decide whether Bolsonaro committed "abuse of political power and misuse of the media" with a government press conference in which Bolsonaro sowed fake news and distrust about the then upcoming 2022 Brazilian elections to diplomatic representatives from several countries and also to the media.
