Sky News host Joe Hildebrand says Prime Minister Scott Morrison may see trans rights as the "last frontier of discrimination" to "tackle".
This comes as Mr Morrison has endorsed a bill which will allow clubs and associations to exclude transgender women from competing in women's sports.
"This is seen as the ... last frontier of discrimination ... we've tackled homophobia, now we need to tackle transphobia," Mr Hildebrand said.
