South East Queensland is in the grips of disaster flooding as multiple emergency alerts have been issued overnight.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services responded to approximately 1,000 calls for help before midnight last night and the number is expected to rise.
Some parts of the state are entering their fourth day of extreme rain, with rainfall records smashed in various locations.
