Ukrainian forces are in a battle to hold Kyiv as Russian troops storm towards the capital.
There have been reports of fighting on the city streets.
Witnesses are reporting gunfire close to the government quarters in central Kyiv.
'Tonight, the enemy will use all its forces to break our resistance; vile, cruel, and inhuman; tonight, they will storm,' Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
