'Absurd conspiracy theory': Chris Minns slams Labor-union 'coordinated attack' claim
The New South Wales Liberals' claim recent industrial action in the state has been the work of a "concerted effort" by unions to get Labor into power is just an "absurd conspiracy theory," says NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns. Hundreds of thousands of Sydneysiders were left in limbo with traffic chaos spreading across the city after a last-minute cancellation of all train services on Monday. The Rail, Tram, and Bus Union (RTBU) argued with the state government for better pay, safety and raised privatisation concerns over the weekend. Discussions broke down late last Sunday night, leading to the government's decision to close all train stations with no warning. "Just an absurd conspiracy theory with no information or facts to back it up," Mr Minns told Sky News Australia. "A dodge from the NSW Premier in a desperate attempt to explain what happened on Monday morning."
