Tim, mate!! Investors investing 1/4 trillion dollars will want 10x return from the Australian consumers. When the solution is much less then that, lets not f up the environment with unreliables. Lets go for a practical, cheaper, and reliable solution.

So are we closing Snowy 2.0? it's way over budget and won't be ready for 10 or more years. And those, "low cost" options are low due to our taxes being thrown at them. Of cause China is pushing solar and wind, they make it, and want every one to buy it, you muppet.
@JD-oc3jx Says:
We already have a plan that makes sense. The Coalitions does not.
@Beachlife4567 Says:
Where did they dig this renewable nutter from. Here is a plan , stop closing coal power stations
@Lillyboo65640 Says:
Has Tim invested too much money in 'renewables' or advised too many others to invest too ??? Oops !!! He can't support Nuclear owned by Australia because he won't make any money for himself or his investors!!
@FranksHairSalon Says:
Dutton wants Australia to become a Communist country. Do we like Communism now?
@FranksHairSalon Says:
True. Chayna is building massive amounts of renewables every year, compared to new coal and nuclear, and it's increasing year on year. Listen to the facts that this man is telling you.

@robertcunningham35 Says:
hat is this guy talking about China's wind and solar doesn't work if it did they would not be opening 2 coal fired power stations a week
@DJ-yj1vg Says:
We get through the next 10-15 years by using gas power plants. It's pretty simple.
@madmachine5244 Says:
Don’t forget that China brings online a mid sized coal power plant every week . While clean energy has become more economical it’s still more expensive than new but traditional energy sources that are cleaner than ever before like new coal plants in the United States with the world’s largest domestic coal deposits. With that being said we can and should be building new much safer/much more efficient nuclear plants in various sizes as a part of our core energy production strategy. Including new nuclear reactor designs that are physically impossible to meltdown. Then build a rocket that can safely launch the nuclear waste into the sun.
@emperordalektardis Says:
Dutton says nuclear will be "government owned". That means you will be paying a lot more taxes to fund it.
@darylephillips6778 Says:
What a brain dead looser Dutton is. He complains about the Debt Australia is in. Then he commits' his party to plan that will cost Trillions . Plus he wont even be in power to see any of his dream Pipe dream come true

@truefactjack Says:

War is gonna kickoff real soon, none of this matters.
@lesblack413 Says:
Tim Buckley is the Finance Director and not an expert. He is obviously a brain washed Labor support on a huge salary and he doesn't want the PM to disband him. Until there is open and honest discussion about nuclear, the truth will never come out about the cost and possibility of nuclear reactors providing the heating source for base load power in Australia.
@mk1479 Says:
Australia needs a government that doesn't believe in fairytales. Australia needs a govt with a spine which is somehow sadly lacking in most politicians.
@TrickyBoy1517. Says:
I love seeing SNA wasting the time of thin-skinned left wing cookers ;)
@Super_Mario128 Says:
Yes to Nuclear, Dutton has won the next election.
@LarryLongprongREAL Says:
Careful, Tricky. You're making the whole place smell of egg ;)
@eb2505 Says:
Why not talk fossil fuel then ? Why is that being excluded from the conversation? Is Dutton still hoping for net zero in the future - a UN agenda?
@awc900 Says:
The current renewables plan makes no sense and pouring more taxpayers money into that black hole is not a credible option.
@trickyboy1517 Says:
Careful Tim. You are making too much sense and presenting far better points as well as debate proof facts for these propagandists to counter. ;)
